The iTero intraoral scanner plays a significant role in our office, providing Advanced Technology Dentistry in Dubai, UAE. This revolutionary dental equipment allows us to work more effectively and efficiently by taking advantage of enhanced digital scanning.

Unlike many similar scanners, the iTero doesn’t require patients to cover their teeth in titanium dioxide powder before a scan. It can capture photos to create 3D dental images within a short time. This advanced step in digital dentistry is easy to use and produces more detailed and precise images that can also be viewed in real time on the scanner screen, saving us a lot of time.

These scans help us create accurate models necessary for restorative work, including implants, crowns, and veneers. They also help us diagnose and develop the best solutions for orthodontic issues.

How we use advanced technologies like Itero Intra Oral Scanners to give patients a more comfortable experience

iTero Intraoral Scanner Technology at Precision Dental Clinic - Dubai
One of the more unpleasant experiences at a dental clinic is the need to take impressions or measurements of the teeth with Goopy pastes and clays.

One of the more unpleasant experiences at a dental clinic is the need to take impressions or measurements of the teeth with Goopy pastes and clays. With new technology available now at Precision Dental Clinic, we use the Itero Intra Oral Scanner to take a scan of your mouth, which means to take a series of photographs which are stitched together to create a virtual image of your teeth on the computer. This scan is true to size and can be sent to a dental lab for designing crowns, bridges, or aligners without the need for Goopy pastes and clays in your mouth. Apart from this, you as a patient can see your teeth as never before and get a better understanding of what is happening and what are the various treatment options and recommendations. This is one of the ways we use advanced technology to aid in your treatment and give you a more comfortable experience.
