Dr. Shweta Prabhu is a Dental implant Specialist and Periodontist (Gum specialist) who also is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (MFDSRCPS; Glasgow, UK).
Dr. Shweta completed her BDS and MDS from SDM college of Dentistry, which is one of the most prestigious institutes in India for Dentistry.
Gum disease is one of the most common bacterial infections people have all around the world and also one of the main reasons for tooth loss.
With 14 years of specialized experience in treating gums and other related issues, Dr. Shweta has saved many loose teeth for her patients over the past years.

Qualifications
After practicing for almost 14 years, a question I still get asked almost every day is, “What is a periodontist?” So, I want to try and explain it in a very simple way since I get great joy in practicing periodontics in Dubai. ‘Peri’ means around and ‘odont’ means tooth. So, I’m somebody who specializes in taking care of the supporting tissues that take care of your teeth and essentially hold them in your jaw. I have studied additionally for three years to be able to do this after my graduation in dentistry. So, what we do is different kinds of procedures to help keep your gums stronger and hold the teeth in their place and these procedures could include re-growing your bone using synthetic bone grafts, etc. We also do cosmetic gum procedures which help bring back lost gum and of course, if you are unfortunate enough to lose one or more of your teeth, we also replace them with implants. So, hope this helps you understand what a periodontist does.
Dr. Shweta is quite professional. She gives not only treatments but also care for her patients.

If it were possible to give a 10 star rating, Precision Dental Clinic would be the most deserving. Like most, visiting the dentist office sparks tension and anxiety. This office changed my view immediately. The reception is amazing, even helping me with directions before arrival. Once there, I truly felt like I was the most important person there. Dr Shweta Prabhu is truly one of the most patient-focused dentist that I have ever met. Her level of expertise, gentle touch and professional demeanor truly leads me to say that Precision Dental is by far the best dental office in Dubai.
